Founder of Glaux Partners Pte Ltd. He established Glaux Partners Pte Ltd in March 2013, providing venture building and niche investment banking service. Successfully exited several startups so far.

Before Glaux Partners, he spent his career in finance businesses and start ups. He started his career in FX trading and Interest rate derivative business in BankersTrust Co. Tokyo. Then he was heading banking book investment in Deutsche Bank Tokyo. After several years in Deutsche Bank, he established Re-plus inc.(successfully IPOed in TSE) as one of the founding management member (COO), which focused on renovation of the properties to value up for real estate funds including J-REIT. After Re-plus he was back to financial industry as General Manager of Structured Credit business in Shinsei Bank and Aozora bank.

Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, National University of Singapore

He started his career in finance with Citibank in Singapore as a FX trader, and has since worked in UBS (Singapore), Bank of Montreal (Singapore), Smith Barney (Singapore), NatWest/RBS (Singapore/HK) and most recently at Societe General (HK). During his 27 years in the financial industry, he has extensive experience in FX products, having worked as a manager of the FX trading team successfully for long time, in taking/managing risk, enhancing business promotion with various marketing/structuring department in each banks. His career enabled him to acquire extensive business networks in South East Asia and Greater China. He joined Glaux Partners as senior management staff in November 2013.

Bachelor of Social Science, Waseda University

He started his career at the Industrial Bank of Japan (currently known as Mizuho Corporate Bank), mainly in the leasing business. He later moved to Softbank Investment Corporation (SBI) to establish their real estate business. After successfully establishing this business within SBI, he moved to the venture capital section focusing on incubation of internet and real estate start ups. During that time, he has invested in several companies in Japan, which he has successfully IPO-ed three start-up companies as well. From his broad experiences, he has extensive relationships in Japanese start up industries. He joined Glaux Partners as senior management staff in March 2013.

Gim Meng graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Physics from the National University of Singapore. He has more than 30 years of experience in the IT and Telecom industry with IBM, AT&T and Morgenrot. He is an accomplished senior executive leading and managing regional and diverse teams across Asia Pacific and Europe in business development, business solutioning, digital transformation, customer services and business management. Over the years, he has provided leadership to create business values in the innovation and development of service offering and solutions to support the growth of enterprises. Through his strong engagement, he has also successfully developed multiple business opportunities with excellent collaboration with partners and vendors to achieve business results.

SY started his career in production and process engineering in National Semiconductor. He continued his engineering career with Molex Singapore Pte Ltd and subsequently built a career in many portfolios in Molex (3rd largest Connector company in the world) over a 35 year period. He transitioned to product marketing which was his core expertise and spent a few years in Molex Inc which was based outside of Chicago, USA in the 90’s. He expanded his expertise to Global Business process management especially GSOP (Global Sales and Operations Planning) and Global Supply Chain processes in the last 10 years. He is an accomplished, experienced practitioner and problem solver throughout his career. He joined Glaux Partners as Senior Consultant in May 2023.
